FAQs

If we haven't answered your question below, pop it into our contact form as we'll get back to you ASAP - we love a good yarn!

Who are we?

So glad you asked 🥰Thread Again is our way of giving old textiles a second chance. We turn thrifted fabric and old clothes into one off crochet bags and home good (yep you read that right, think baskets, mats and bowls!). Each product is handmade by us, with intention and a healthy dose of stubborn optimism about our planet

What's the go with shipping?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

What's your returns policy?

Every Thread Again piece is handmade with care using repurposed materials meaning no two are exactly alike (and that's the magic!).

Because of this, we don't accept returns for:

  • colour variations
  • texture or thickness differences
  • natural markings or surface quirks
  • slight shape shifts

These imperfections are what make each item unique and one-of-a-kind.

After considering this and you're still not happy with your purchase, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.

Can I request a custom style or colour?

We offer a small number of made to order slots! If you're after a specific colour palette or vibe, send us a DM on Instagram or contact us using the form below.

We'll do our best to match your vision using reclaimed materials we currently have or can source sustainably.

Additional fees may apply if sourcing new fabric is required.

How should I care for my Thread Again bag?

Keep it cute and cared for by spot cleaning with a damp cloth.

If it needs a deeper clean, hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent and lay flat to dry.

Avoid the washing machine and dryer - it's not kind to handmade yarn and will disrupt the structure.

Store flat or hanging to prevent stretching.

Do you make all your yarn by hand?

We sure do. Every ball of yarn used is made by us, We cut the fabric, stretch it and roll into a ball! It's a bit of a labour of love, but it means we know exactly where our yarn has come from (and what landfill it's not going to).

What's the fabric composition of your yarn?

Each of our bags are crafted from a mix of reclaimed fabrics, all sourced from local thrift stores or suppliers supporting the circular economy. Since we work with pre-loved materials, the original fabric content is often unknown.

Unless a piece is made from clothing with the original tags still attached, we can't guarantee the exact fibre makeup, but we can guarantee it's rescued, reused handmade with care.
